I’m Eric.

I was born and raised in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. I’ve always loved dogs, I even trained my dog Alex to protect me from my older sister when she would pick on me when we were younger (I got in big trouble for this!). 

After graduating BGSU I  moved to Los Angeles to pursue music.  I was able to play professionally in an international headlining rock band and was lucky enough to tour Europe and North America… it was a dream come true. However the adult realities of savings accounts and health insurance forced me to reconsider my career path as I entered my 30’s… 

I was walking my neighbors dog and decided to get a job as a doggie daycare manager. 

I met Dallas working as a doggie daycare manager in 2004. Dallas n I became best friends for the next 15 years. After a couple years I went back to my pre-music day job of telecom to make more money (ahem, savings account and health insurance), had a successful career as a telecom executive for over a decade, and during that entire time I was always involved in dog care, taking pride as Dog Uncle to Dallas and others and dreaming of someday opening a dog daycare business and being a Dog Uncle to more dogs.   

A former drummer friend who runs a successful dog grooming business in LA stated there was an opportunity in the market, and after working  for a large dog walking business for a couple years I launched K9 Cardio Club in 2022, to provide dog owners a mobile dog daycare service that truly cares about the dogs, puts the dogs’ interests and safety first, cares enough to have open, honest relationships with clients about the dogs, and encourages dog trackers because we actually do what we say. 

Jaime joined me in the dog care business after covid took its toll on the event planning industry in 2020. We married in 2023 and are a proud caring Uncle and Aunt team to our canine nephews and nieces.  

We love these dogs, we want them to be tired and happy, and we want to see smiles on their furry faces.
